The Airmont Products 2-Gang Dryer & Range Wall Plate is a standard-size metal cover built for 3-wire and 4-wire round range and dryer receptacles. The plate measures 4.562 inches wide by 4.5 inches tall with one round opening, 2.125 inches in diameter, centered on the plate. That opening is sized for 30/50 amp 3-wire and 4-wire round receptacles (NEMA 10-30, 10-50, 14-30 and 14-50). Before ordering, check that your outlet is a 2-gang round type with a 2.125-inch opening and a 4-screw mounting pattern. This plate is not compatible with 2-screw center-mount receptacles or with single-gang covers, which are roughly 2.75 inches wide.
Made from 0.030-inch cold-rolled steel with a semi-gloss white powder-coat finish, this wall plate is sturdier than standard plastic covers and delivers a clean, professional look in laundry rooms, garages, and utility spaces. The powder-coat finish inhibits oxidation and resists chipping and scratching, and the plate can be repainted in the field to match a new room décor.
Installation is simple. The plate uses a standard 2-gang mounting hole pattern, making it a direct replacement for any existing standard-size 2-gang dryer or range wall plate. Matching-finish 6-32 oval-head screws are included, so all you need is a screwdriver.
