This 1-gang metal switch box is designed to house switches, receptacles, and other compatible wiring devices in residential and commercial electrical installations. Constructed from durable metal, it provides a strong, dependable enclosure for wiring while remaining easy to install.
Each box provides 12.5 cubic inches of capacity and measures approximately 2.5" x 4.22" x 2.63". The box includes four MC cable clamps for securing compatible armored cable and seven 1/2" knockouts for flexible cable and conduit entry.
The gangable design allows compatible boxes to be joined together when installations require space for two or more wiring devices. Integrated plaster ears help simplify mounting and positioning during installation.
